Prayer Covenant

In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Striving to love and serve Christ, the people of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church covenant with one another in prayer as witnesses to God’s grace.

As a community of faith we endeavor to unify our congregation in their mission to study and live God’s word.

Through the Spirit’s leading we will pray daily for:

May we have God’s blessing on our Covenant and commitments we make today, and that through prayer, worship, and bible study, we may grow in Him.

We ask, and pray this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Amen

We invite you to worship with us and join the fellowship of our congregation as we seek to glorify the Lord.

So often the stress of everyday living drags us down and we discover that something is missing in our lives.  It is during these stressful times that the Lord nudges us to get to know Him better.

Perhaps there are even moments when you cry out, "Why me, Lord?"!  It is at those times when we can ask another question.  "Now that this has happened to me, Lord, what have you given me to deal with it?"

At St. Peter we all struggle with those questions at one time or another.  Many of
us realize that God has given us each other to help deal with our problems.  God also speaks words of comfort, hope, and reassurance to us through worship - in Word and music and the Sacraments.

We invite you to join us as we all search for answers to life's questions and come
to realize that no matter what life holds for us, nothing in this world will separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
