Prayer Covenant

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

The people of St. Peter Lutheran Church covenant with one another to be in prayer, praising and thanking God for blessing us to be a blessing.

Building on our trust and faith in God we endeavor to unify our congregation in their mission as disciples to spread God’s word.

Through the Spirit’s leading we will pray daily for:

May we truly believe in God’s promise to be with us in every situation. May we have God’s blessing on our Covenant and Commitment we make today.

We ask, and pray this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We invite you to worship with us and join the fellowship of our congregation as we seek to glorify the Lord.

So often the stress of everyday living drags us down and we discover that something is missing in our lives.  It is during these stressful times that the Lord nudges us to get to know Him better.

Perhaps there are even moments when you cry out, "Why me, Lord?"!  It is at those times when we can ask another question.  "Now that this has happened to me, Lord, what have you given me to deal with it?"

At St. Peter we all struggle with those questions at one time or another.  Many of
us realize that God has given us each other to help deal with our problems.  God also speaks words of comfort, hope, and reassurance to us through worship - in Word and music and the Sacraments.

We invite you to join us as we all search for answers to life's questions and come
to realize that no matter what life holds for us, nothing in this world will separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
